Greeting cards are printed in various standard sizes. These are the most popular sizes:
A6 Greeting card size
A6 greeting cards are 148mm x 105mm when folded. They are available in portrait or landscape format and may also be produced as 'Tent' Format in landscape style. This is approx 6" x 4" in inches.

140mm square greeting card size

5" x 7" greeting cards
5" x 7" greeting cards are a standard size and are still very popular. They are available in portrait or landscape format. The cards are 127mm x 178mm when folded.

A5 greeting cards

DL greeting cards
DL size greeting cards are 99mm high x 210mm wide. They suit wide "landscape" style subjects and are not suitable for every design. The cards are roughly 4" high x 8.25" wide.
DL greeting cards are only available in landscape format (like a letterbox) and often only suit very wide images, such as landscapes and seascapes. |

Greeting Card Formats
Not all greeting card sizes will suit every design. Square cards are naturally more suited to square images, whether they are photographs or paintings. A6 and A5 cards are the same ratio as each other,
which is the same as A4. A6, A5 and 5 x 7 cards can all be printed as Landscape or Portrait formats, although we do not recommend 'tent' format for these cards as they tend to slump down on the mantlepiece.
